“While everything is so digital, isn’t it nice to hold a memory in your hands?”
That’s what I say to friends asking me why I opt to use a Fuji Instax camera (much like a Polaroid, only cheaper) instead of the usual digital camera. While it may be a little costly if you compute your expense per shot, the cost becomes trivial once you understand that this camera is not just for any Kodak moment. It’s a camera for those fleeting moments that merit a tangible memory; moments that are well worth investing in.
Remember that while you whisk away so quickly with a digital device, you’re required to think about that moment with an Instax – Is it worth a shot? Is this a memory I would want to stick to my wall?
Sometimes, we better appreciate things that are finite.
