We had a successful run last year at pageant circuits, will the current crop of beauties vying for the crowns reap the same results?
In the spirit of placing my bets for Binibining Pilipinas (last year’s bets), here are my 10 choices from this year’s roster of 30 contestants. Comparably though, this looks like a weaker batch — 2011′s set of girls made the competition very tight, and it seemed like it was anybody’s ballgame. This year though, you kinda already know more or less who’s going to be in the top 5.
And here’s who I think they’ll be:
Candidate # 7: Patricia Lae Ejercitado
Awesome skin tone, awesome bod
Candidate # 8: Nicole Schmitz
Bashers say she looks like a drag, but I think she’s one of the most prepared
Candidate #9: MJ Lastimosa
She’s a little too enhanced for my taste (you name it, she’s had it done), but this one’s really a fighter
Candidate #12: Ayelee Marie Dasalla
This one is a big loser — she used to weigh 200+ lbs and now she’s down to around 100 lbs. Nothing sells a beauty queen like a good story 
Candidate #4: Jaine Hidalgo
Gandang Pilipina talaga ang peg
Although one of these girls might just pull off a suprise and grab a crown –

I don’t follow pageants so I’m pretty clueless, pero mas peg ko beauty ng bets mo last year. Among your 5 bets for 2012, I like #4 the most.
